Bayern Munich was able to return to its winning ways, after two consecutive EuroLeague defeats, as the Bavarians slipped past Giessen 46ers with a 71-64 OT win in the Basketball Bundesliga.

Ognjen Jaramaz led Bayern in scoring with 18 points, while he made a game-saving block at the end of regulation to send the matchup to OT. There, he scored 10 of his 18 points to win it for the 2021 German Cup winners.

ALBA Berlin achieved its second win in the German league with a 74-92 win over Oldenburg. The reigning champions used an 11-28 third-quarter run to secure the victory.

Oscar da Silva set a game-high with 21 points, five rebounds and four assists, while Jaleen Smith followed with 18 points, six rebounds and five rebounds for the club from Berlin.

Brose Bamberg is the only unbeaten club in the league after four match days: In a duel for the sole table lead, Johan Roijakkers’ team prevailed with a 72-68 win over Heidelberg.

Omar Prewitt was once more the most valuable player for the Bamberg with his all-around play. He finished the game with 16 points, eight assists and four rebounds.

Hamburg Towers prevailed over Bayreuth (77-70) to secure the first victory for the season. Robin Christen led the Towers with 22 points, just one point below his career high. Four other Hamburg players scored in double digits.
