LeBron James: “It’s all about being patient with the process”

The Los Angeles Lakers remained winless in their preseason games after losing to the Golden State Warriors (99-111). LeBron James, who was absent from the previous game against the Phoenix Suns, returned to action to form the Big Three with Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook.

The four-time NBA champion played 26 minutes and was the second in scoring for the Lakers with 17 points. James also had 6 rebounds and 4 assists. After the game, he talked about the importance of trusting the process continuing to improve as the season starts.

“It’s going to take a minute for us to become the team that we know we’re capable of being. It’s all about just working the process, patient with the process and understating that we’re going to have frustrating moments. We’re going to have moments where we’re quite right there but may take a step backwards.

“I think nothing is worth having if it’s not worth working for. We’re going to hit some moments where we just we feel like we’re there but we’re not quite there yet.”
