Malik Monk made a stellar preseason debut with the Los Angeles Lakers in the loss to the Brooklyn Nets (123-97).
Monk spent 21 minutes on the floor and had a team-high 15 points, on 6/12 shooting and 3/6 from beyond the arc.
However, he couldn’t prevent the Lakers from suffering their first preseason loss. Lakers superstar Anthony Davis shared his surprise that Malik Monk is in the roster.
The young guard will come off the bench for the Lakers and head coach Frank Vogel already has high expectations for him.
