After four years with the Los Angeles Lakers, the team’s rising star Kyle Kuzma was traded to the Washington Wizards. According to him, he was very excited after he learned about the trade.
“I was super-hyped, obviously, because it’s a better situation,” Kuzma said on No Chill with Gilbert Arenas, per Angelo Guinhawa of ClutchPoints. “Going to Sacramento would’ve been fun, I would’ve went crazy for sure. But to have the opportunity to play with Brad Beal–someone that is trying to really be a winner in this league–is just the perfect opportunity.”
This past season, Kuzma averaged 12.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game for the Lakers. His numbers were similar to those of the year before.
