The former All-Star point guard Rajon Rondo is set to rejoin the Los Angeles Lakers, according to reports. The veteran guard is being bought out by the Memphis Grizzlies and looks to head back to the purple-and-gold that’s stacking its roster with role players who have previously starred with the team. Just two seasons ago, Rondo was a key part for LeBron James’ team that won the title in the bubble. Hear what a three-time Super Bowl Champion and Pro Football Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe has to say about the Lakers’ decision to pursue the 35-year-old veteran: “Rondo’s going to fit in better than he did for the Clippers. WE got Playoff Rondo, I don’t know what ya’ll had last year. But this is an opportunity for LeBron to stay off the ball more to preserve his minutes.”
