Ben Simmons could be available to start the season with the Philadelphia 76ers, despite the various rumours that suggested the opposite.
According to several reports, the Sixers saw several trades fall through throughout the offseason, but Ben Simmons might end up playing for them again, per Brian Windhorst via Austin Krell of The Painted Lines.
There are not currently in active discussions with any team for Simmons, who was in the trade block for most of the offseason due to his disappointing performances in the EC playoffs semifinals vs. Atlanta.
Simmons could salvage some of his value during the regular season, while the 76ers will be able to evaluate the situation regarding what they can receive for the three-time All-Star guard/forward in a potential trade.
