Kendrick Nunn couldn’t hide his excitement for the opportunity to play for a legendary franchise, like the Los Angeles Lakers.
Nunn said he feels ‘blessed’ for that chance and it ‘means a lot’ to play for the 17-time NBA champions.
“It means a lot. I’m honored to be in this position to put on an L.A. Lakers jersey and it’s a powerhouse franchise and it means everything.
It means a lot. Putting on and represent this city. Obviously I’m a kid from Chicago, the south side of Chicago, but I love L.A. and I want to represent them as much [and] as well as I can,” Nunn said, via Lakers Nation.
Nunn recently agreed to a two-year, $10M deal with the Lakers, with the second year being a player option.
