Team USA rallied past Japan in the Final of the Women’s Olympic Tournament and continued its dynasty in the competition.
Playing very well on both ends, the Americans took over from the opening tip (23-14, 50-39, 75-56) and never looked back, cruising to an easy victory.
Brittney Griner led the way for the winners with an impressive performance (game-high 30 points, 14/18 shooting, new Olympic record), whereas Maki Takada had 17 points for Japan.
Team USA dominated another Olympic Tournament, claiming its seventh consecutive gold medal.
