LeBron James asked critics to “keep talking” Wednesday in a since-deleted tweet and has apparently already taken note of suggestions that the Lakers are too old or injury-prone to be successful next season.

The Los Angeles Lakers won the 2019-20 title inside the Orlando bubble with James and Anthony Davis leading the way, but they lost in the first round of the playoffs to a younger Phoenix Suns’ team last season.

The team wasted little time re-tooling its roster by signing a number of players, including Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard, Kendrick Nunn, Wayne Ellington, Malik Monk, Trevor Ariza, and Kent Bazemore.

James seems motivated to prove the doubters wrong, having a good amount of elite NBA veterans by his side for the 2021-22 season campaign.

The Lakers are hoping to win their second title in the last three seasons, as James will try to add his 5th NBA championship to his personal collection.
