The Los Angeles Lakers are looking to improve their shooting after a season of struggles from beyond the arc. According to Broderick Turner, Andrew Greif and Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times, the name of Patty Mills is coming up in rumors as a potential addition to the Purple and Gold.
The 32-year-old guard, who is currently representing Australia national team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, averaged 10.8 points, 1.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game for the San Antonio Spurs this past season. He became an unrestricted free agent this summer and will be able to listen to offers from any team.
Mills spent twelve years in the NBA, ten of which were in San Antonio and two in Portland. He is a 38.8% career three-point shooter.
