Three players of the national team of Spain have been placed in Covid-19 self-isolation, according to the Spanish website EFE.
Per the report, Marc Gasol, Alberto Abalde and Usman Garuba came in close contact with a person that tested positive for Covid-19.
The incident took place on July 21, but the three players have tested negative for the virus several times. However, they have to stay in individual rooms and travel in a different vehicle.
Gasol, Abalde and Garuba have played for Spain in the first two games of the Olympic tournament, as they are eligible to practice with the team and be part of the active roster.
Spain is undefeated in Group C and has qualified for the knockout stage. They will now face Slovenia for the top place in the group.
