Warriors sign Usman Garuba

According to Shams Charania and Anthony Slater of The Athletic via Twitter, the Golden State Warriors have reached an agreement to bring on board Usman Garuba, a free-agent center, by signing him to a two-way contract.

Usman Garuba, who is 21 years old and was selected as the 23rd overall pick in the 2021 NBA draft, has previously played for the Houston Rockets during his first two years in the league.

During his time with the Rockets, he participated in a total of 99 games and held averages of 2.8 points and 3.9 rebounds per game while playing for approximately 12.2 minutes each night.
