Golden State Warriors are going to shake up their coaching staff after failing to make the postseason for a second year in the row.

According to San Francisco Chronicle, the Warriors are likely to add Dejan Milojevic, who was the head coach of Mega Basket for eight years. Mega Basket was the team that the 2021 NBA MVP Nikola Jokic started his career with.

Milojevic led Mega Basket to its first Serbian Cup title in 2016 and finished second in the Adriatic League that same year.

Last January, he joined KK Buducnost leading the team to a 26-7 record in the Adriatic League and a 9-10 record at Eurocup, reaching the Adriatic League finals.

Milojevic’s contract runs through the 2022-23 season, however, according to the report, there is a clause in case of an NBA opportunity.

Milojevic had an illustrious career as a player as he was a three-time ABA League MVP and a two-time leading scorer for the Adriatic League.

He played for Buducnost, Partizan Belgrade, Valencia and Galatasaray throughout his 15-year career.
