Nikola Jokic makes history in Nuggets’ Game 3 loss to Phoenix Suns

Denver Nuggets’ superstar Nikola Jokic showed why he was named the 2021 NBA MVP in Game 3 of the series vs. the Phoenix Suns.

Despite the loss, the Joker finished with a monstrous stat line of 32 points, 20 rebounds and 10 assists joining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Wilt Chamberlain as the only players with a 30-20-10 postseason game.

The Nuggets could not capitalize their superstar’s performance losing 116-102 to the Phoenix Suns, who took a 3-0 lead in the Western Conference semifinals series.

For the winning side, Devin Booker had 28 points and Chris Paul added 27 as the Suns overcame Jokic’s excellent night. The Suns need one more win to advance to the Western Conference Finals.

Game 4 of the series is on Sunday.
