Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown took the time to address Kyrie Irving’s comments regarding Boston’s fans behavior towards him.

Kyrie Irving made the headlines recently after he asked the Boston Celtics’ fans to not display any “subtle racism”, among other things, when he returns to TD Garden for Game 3 between the Nets and the Celtics.

Brown addressed the media prior to Game 3 of the series sharing his thoughts on Irving’s comments, systemic racism and its existence in Boston and the United States in general.

“I think that systemic racism should be addressed in Boston and the United States. However, I do not like the manner it was brought up, in terms of centering it around a playoff game,” Brown said.
