Kyle Kuzma scored a total of two points in the first two first round series games against the Phoenix Suns. According to Lakers head coach Frank Vogel, the 25-year-old forward is the secondary scoring option on the team.

The player himself says his main focus with the Lakers is not necessarily scoring points. “My role on this team is not necessarily scoring the ball,” Kuzma said. “Obviously if you look from a temp standpoint, the ball hasn’t necessarily found me and that’s okay. I just have trust that it will eventually.

“But my thing is obviously contributing on that defensive end which I’ve been. Just doing those little things to help us get wins and playing championship style basketball. I’m okay with that.”
