Los Angeles Lakers haven’t played a playoff game at Staples Center since 2013, and LeBron James cannot wait for Game 3 of the series vs. Phoenix to experience the playoff atmosphere at the LA franchise home court.

James is pretty hyped for playing in front of the Lakers’ faithful as the team is hoping to take the lead in the series against the Suns.

“It’s going to be pretty special for our fans. … That’s what I came here for to be able to play a playoff game in front of the Lakers faithful,” James said after Tuesday’s crucial victory.

James led the Lakers to the NBA championship last season, however the return of the LA franchise in titles was on a neutral ground in the Orlando ‘bubble’.

The Lakers will face the Suns at Staples Center on Thursday in their first postseason game in front of their fans in eight years.
