Kyle Lowry wants to keep his options open ahead of free agency

Kyle Lowry will be a free agent this offseason and wants to explore his options regarding his next contract signing.

Lowry didn’t rule out a return to the Toronto Raptors, but he aims to keep his options open in free agency.

“Everyone’s gonna have their own opinion. And it’s a good story for people to write and to have fun with. But we’ll see what happens.

No one knows what the future holds. No one knows what comes with the next day. We all just have to live it every day and every moment.

And that’s important, to just take it day by day and minute by minute, hour by hour, and live our lives like that. But it’s a cool story to write for people. I just hope they make me look really cool,” Lowry said, via Eric Koreen of The Athletic.

Kyle Lowry has spent nine seasons with the Raptors, winning the NBA championship once (2019). Toronto wanted to trade him before the deadline (March 25), but didn’t reach an agreement with the teams that pursued Lowry. The Raptors failed to reach the postseason for the first time after eight years.
