Steve Kerr revealed that Draymond Green will guard Anthony Davis in the Lakers – Warriors play-in game on Wednesday.

Kerr, the head coach of the Warriors, explained the pros and cons of such move and how it could affect the team’s strategy.

“The pro is that we’ve got I think the best defender on earth guarding one of the best players on earth. That outweighs the cons. The cons are that Draymond can’t play as much centerfield,” Kerr said, via Anthony Slater of the Athletic.

Green, who received high praise from Lakers head coach Frank Vogel, will attempt to contain Davis and prevent him from finding his rhythm offensively.

On the other hand, the big man of the Lakers said the defending champions have their sights set on stopping Stephen Curry.
