Talen Horton-Tucker reacts to hitting game-winner vs. Knicks

Talen Horton-Tucker took over the game for the Los Angeles Lakers in overtime against the New York Knicks. The 20-year-old guard scored 8 out of 10 points that his team had in overtime, including a game-winning three-pointer over Derrick Rose.

After the game, the sophomore was asked to share his thoughts on the shot. According to Horton-Tucker, he was more concerned about turning the ball over in previous possession rather than hitting the three-pointer.

“I was more concerned about the turnover that I just had,” he said postgame. “Honestly, I was trying to make up for it. Just being in that position I feel like why not. The opportunity presented itself. I just tried to keep my confidence and good things happened.”
