Anthony Davis described the upcoming game against the Portland Trail Blazers as the biggest game out of the remaining games in this regular season. If the Los Angeles Lakers lose it, they will switch places with Portland and will move to the play-in tournament spot.

One of the key questions ahead of the game for the reigning NBA champions is whether Davis will be able to play as he was forced to leave the Clippers game early due to back spasms.

The 28-year-old forward expects to be good to go tonight. “There was no certain play. During a timeout, the first timeout, the second timeout I kind of just felt it locking it up more and more,” Davis recalled the pain in his back.

“And then eventually when I came out I think around the 3-minute mark in the first quarter it just got to the point where it was pretty tough. Like I said, it feels better that I had some work done and I should be able to go tomorrow.”
