The Los Angeles Lakers are on the brink of dropping to the seventh place in the Western Conference after they were overtaken by the Dallas Mavericks.
The Mavs recently earned two wins over the reigning NBA champions and after their most recent overtime win over the Washington Wizards they tied the Lakers’ record and bumped them out of the fifth place in the West.
Despite missing Kristaps Porzingis, the Mavericks were able to take the win, thanks to a triple-double by Luka Doncic. The Slovenian star had 31 points, 12 rebounds and 20 assists.
