76ers sign Anthony Tolliver for rest of season

The Philadelphia 76ers plan to sign veteran forward Anthony Tolliver for the remainder of the season, according to Shams Charania.

Tolliver signed his first 10-day contract with the team on April 12 and is now completing his second 10-day contract.

The 35-year-old has appeared in five games with the 76ers, averaging 1.6 points and 1.6 rebounds per game in 12.4 minutes per game.

Tolliver’s impact is more so felt off the court, as younger players in the locker room have “gravitated” toward the 13-year NBA veteran, according to head coach Doc Rivers.

Tolliver will now hold the 15th roster spot for players on standard contracts.
