Kyle Kuzma had 13 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist in 29 minutes of play as the Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Boston Celtics in what was their first game with fans at Staples Center in more than a year.
The 25-year-old forward became the first Lakers player since Kobe Bryant to score 4,000 points in his first 261 games. After the loss, he was asked about this achievement.
“That’s cool but if I would have played a little bit better and we probably would have won, I probably would have had more of a quote for you,” Kuzma said. “I played like sh*t today. Yeah, that’s cool but.”
