Alize Johnson agrees to multi-year deal with Brooklyn Nets, per report

Alize Johnson will remain a part of the Brooklyn Nets roster as he agreed to a multi-year deal with the team, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Johnson signed two 10-day contracts before he commits to the Nets on a regular deal. Woj reports that ‘Johnson had his choice of a bit more guaranteed money elsewhere, but wanted to stay the course with Nets’.

He averaged 7.8 points and 5.8 rebounds on 65.7 percent shooting in six appearances with Brooklyn. The forward spent time with the Indian Pacers in his first two seasons in the NBA as he was selected in the 50th pick of the 2018 Draft.

He started the season in the Raptors G League affiliate, before joining the Brooklyn Nets.
