The Los Angeles Lakers sophomore Talen Horton-Tucker had to miss the game against the Miami Heat due to a suspension. It was the first time that he was fined by the NBA.

THT returned against the Brooklyn Nets as he scored 14 points and dished 11 assists in 34 minutes of play. After the game, he was asked about the suspension.

“I feel like the way it impacted my play is just it held me off the court,” the 20-year-old guard said. “You hold me off the court, I get excited to play basketball again.

I feel like it was a lesson learned. It’s something that I feel like I had to go through early in my career. It’s good for me.”
