Jeff Teague was a part of Thursday’s deal that sent Evan Fournier from Orlando to the Boston Celtics. Teague will not play any minutes with his new team as the Magic announced that he was waived.
The 32-year-old guard averaged 6.9 points and 2.1 assists in 18.1 minutes per game across 34 appearances for Boston this season.
Teague is a one-time All-Star(2014-15), when he was playing for the Atlanta Hawks having 805 NBA games under his belt.
He also played for the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Indiana Pacers throughout his NBA career registering career averages of 12.3 points, 5.6 assists, and 1.2 steals.
