Myles Turner, the centre of the Indiana Pacers has always been proud of his defensive abilities. After the game against the Dallas Mavericks which ended with the Pacers winning it by 109-94, he called himself “the highest impact defensively in the league”.
“I have the highest impact defensively in the league,” Turner said. “When I’m out there, things change a lot. When I’m not, it’s obvious. … I don’t have to score to impact the game. I know where I leave my mark.”
This season Turner is averaging 12.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.5 blocks, 1 assist and 0.9 steals per game for Indiana.
