U.S Vice President Kamala Harris thought the Golden State Warriors got the jersey number wrong after she was gifted some team threads on the back of her victorious electoral campaign.

The team gave Harris a jersey to commemorate her becoming the first woman of color to become Vice President and, speaking in an interview with actor Michael B. Jordan ahead of Sunday’s All-Star Game, she revealed it took her some time to realize the number 49’s significance.

“After we won the election and I became vice president, the Warriors had a special jersey that had Oakland in the front, but it had 49 on [the back],” she said. “I was like, ‘I don’t think Steph’s number is 49.’ And then I realized, ‘I’m the 49th Vice President!'”

An Oakland native, Harris told Jordan she’s “all about the Warriors” when it comes to team loyalty. In a video published on inauguration day, she revealed the jersey will “proudly” hang “in the office of the Vice President of the United States.”
