Brooklyn Nets are among the favorites to sign Blake Griffin after clearing the waivers. Griffin and the Pistons worked on a buyout with several teams being interested in securing the veteran forward’s services.

James Harden talked about the possibility of playing alongside another All-Star in case Brooklyn signs Blake Griffin, after clearing waivers.

(via Kristian Winfield of NY Daily News):

“We haven’t made that move yet, we haven’t acquired anybody yet, so I can answer that later if it happens, but we all know how exciting Blake Griffin is and the player he is.”

Brooklyn and Harden have really matched in an unexpected way, as the superstar guard became the main playmaker of the Nets’ star-studded roster.

Harden averages 25.3 points, 11.1 assists, and 7.8 rebounds per game for the first part of the season. He’s shooting 48-percent from the field and 40.8-percent from deep.
