Sixers’ Dwight Howard dismisses plans of retirement; wants to play five more years

Dwight Howard won his first NBA championship last season, and he believes he can offer much more, as he plans to play basketball for ‘at least’ five more years.

After his successful stint with the Lakers’ uniform, the veteran center signed with the Philadelphia 76ers to become the backup center behind Sixers’ superstar Joel Embiid.

This year, Howard is averaging 6.6 points and 8.1 rebounds in just 17.5 minutes per game helping his team climb to the top of the Eastern Conference.

If the eight-time All-Star remains clear off injury issues, he has much more to offer and why not add more NBA silverware in the process.
