Washington Wizards star guard Bradley Beal is clearly fed up with the team’s lack of defense.

The team can score plenty of points, as they are averaging 119.2 points per game in nine games, but also giving up an average of 122.1 points per game, last in the NBA.

“It’s our defense. I don’t know why it’s our defense. At this point, we can’t guard a parked car,” Beal said.

Beal is off to a scorching start to the season, leading the NBA with 35.0 points per game.

Despite the early season personal success, Beal still isn’t pleased, as some of his best performances have come in a loss.

“I’m pissed off,” he said. “… Any of my career highs, they’ve been in losses. So I don’t give a damn. You can throw it right out the window with the other two or three I’ve had.”

If the Wizards don’t find a way to fix their defensive struggles, it could be a long season, as the team already has seven losses, tied for the most in the league with the Detroit Pistons.
