Markieff Morris opened up about the offseason moves of the Los Angeles Lakers and how deep the roster is ahead of the 2020/21 season.
Morris said every player in the active roster should be ready to make the difference on both ends in every game, no matter if they are starters or are coming off the bench.
“Joining this team, we knew we were deep already … but with a shortened offseason we knew we were gonna need 11 guys that can be ready to play every game,” Morris told reporters, via Mike Trudell of Spectrum Sportsnet.
Morris and the Lakers will face the Clippers in their season opener on Tuesday.
