Kevin Durant shared his thoughts on facing the Golden State Warriors in the season opener on Tuesday.
Durant said facing his former team will not give him extra motivation.
“Playing against old teammates never ratcheted me up,” Durant said, via Mark Medina of USA TODAY Sports.
Durant spent three years with the Warriors (2016-2019), winning the NBA title and Finals MVP twice (2017, 2018).
On Tuesday night, Durant will make his first appearance on the floor since Game 5 of the 2019 NBA Finals.
