Markelle Fultz has agreed to a contract extension with the Orlando Magic, which will keep him in the team long term.
Fultz agreed to a three-year extension with the Magic, worth $50M, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Fultz, the No.1 pick of the 2017 NBA Draft, joined the Magic last season and averaged a career-best 12.1 points and 5.1 assists.
The versatile guard is expected to have a central role in Orlando’s tactics this season.
