Jeremy Lin will not make his return to the NBA, as the Golden State Warriors failed to complete the deal, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
The Warriors were unable to receive Lin’s letter of clearance from FIBA on time and, therefore, they missed the waiver deadline.
Golden State planned to sign and waive Lin in order to include him in the roster of its G-League affiliate, Santa Cruz.
Instead of signing Lin, the Warriors signed and waived Elijah Pemberton.
