Euroleague newcomers add Mustafa Shakur to their roster. Neptunas Klaipeda agreed terms with 30-year old American point guard.
Shakur played last season at Tadamon in Lebanese Division A. In two games he had very impressive stats: 20.5ppg, 5.0rpg, 2.5apg and 2.5spg. He also played at Oklahoma City 66ers in D-League that season. In 23 games he recorded also remarkable stats: 18.9ppg, 5.0rpg, 6.8apg and 2.3spg.
In 2012/2013 season Shakur played at Air Avellino in Italian league. In 17 games he recorded 11.5ppg, 3.3rpg, 3.4apg and 1.9spg.
The University of Arizona product has appeared in 22 career NBA games with the Washington Wizards, averaging 2.3 points, 1.1 assists and 1.0 rebound in 7.2 minutes per game. He spent time on the Thunder roster during the 2009-10 season but did not appear in any games.
