The FIBA World Cup is right around the corner and all eyes of the basketball world will be fixated on events happening in Spain. BUT, there is some big news in the NBA, even if we knew it all along. It’s finally confirmed.

LOVE TO THE CAVS IN THREE-TEAM TRADE

Kevin Love is finally a Cleveland Cavaliers player, as he leaves the Minnesota Timberwolves in a deal that sends Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett to Minnesota and a projected 2015 first round pick (via Miami) to Philadelphia.

As part of the trade, Philadelphia acquire Alexey Shved and Luc Mbah a Moute from Minnesota and Thad Young will go to the Timberwolves.

“Kevin joining the Cavaliers represents a very special and unique opportunity for our team,” Cavs general manager David Griffin said in a release. “At only 25, Kevin has already firmly established himself as one of the NBA’s elite players and his talent, versatility and fit are major parts of our team’s vision for success.”
