AEK Athens announced that Tyrese Rice and the club will not continue their cooperation for the rest of the season. The club signed the player for the Final 8 of the Basketball Champions League, where AEK lost in the Final to Burgos.

Tyrese Rice is one of those players all teams would like to have in their roster. His offensive skills along with his experience are some of the characteristics that helped AEK reach the BCL final. Rice’s future is still not sure since the player is even considering retirement. Despite some interest from Euroleague teams, it remains to be seen what the player will decide.

AEK thanked the player wishing him the best of luck for the rest of his career.
