Jeff Van Gundy is considered the favorite to become the new head coach of the Houston Rockets, per Tim MacMahon of ESPN.
MacMahon appeared in the “Brian Windhorst & The Hoop Collective” podcast and made the revelation.
“I still think Jeff Van Gundy is probably the favorite but they’re definitely doing their due diligence,” said MacMahon via the RealGM.
For his part, Marc J. Spears of ESPN revealed that Van Gundy and Tyronn Lue will have an interview with Houston next week.
