Michael Porter Jr. had some impressive plays in the closing minutes of Game 5 between the Nuggets and the Clippers. The rookie hit a big three that gave a four-point lead with almost a minute remaining in the regulation.

He also made a huge block on Ivica Zubac and then secured a crucial rebound. Mike Malone was all-praise for Porter. Jr., who had zero points until the last two minutes of the game.

“What you love about Michael, is that whether it’s just youthful inexperience or not really understanding the magnitude of the situation, but he has supreme confidence,” Nuggets’ head coach said, per Mike Singer of the Denver Post.

Porter finished the game with seven big points and five rebounds to closeout Game 5. Game 6 of the series is going to take place on Sunday.
