Kendrick Nunn was the starting guard of the Miami Heat during the regular season and the seeding games in Orlando. However, Erik Spoelstra preffered Goran Dragic for the starting spot in the postseason.

Kendrick Nunn, who stayed 16 minutes in the court in Game 1 win vs. Bucks on Monday, was ready to get in the rotation again in the series vs. the Bucks.

“I wasn’t surprised,” Kendrick Nunn said on Tuesday, per Ira Winderman. “Me and Spo talked before. He told me that during those Bucks [regular-season] wins how I was a great contributor, so I’d definitely get in the rotation come this round. I was ready for it.”

Nunn averaged 15.3 points and 3.3 assists per contest shooting 43% from the field and 35% from beyond the arc starting in 67 games for the Heat in his rookie season.
