Jeff Van Gundy praised the superstar of the Dallas Mavericks, Luka Doncic, calling him a ‘showman’.
The veteran head coach said he has been impressed by Doncic’s performances all season long, especially on the offensive end.
“Doncic is not just a great player, but a great showman. The guy has the vision, the size, he is so big and I love the way he plays offensive basketball.
He is becoming a better shooter and it is scary to think that if he does all that and improve his shooting, then it is over,” Van Gundy said during his recent appearance in the ”World of Basketball” podcast with Fran Fraschilla on SiriusXM.
Doncic has been unstoppable in the first round of the playoffs, averaging 29.6 points, 10 rebounds, 8.6 assists and 1.2 steals.
The Slovenian star and the Mavericks are down 3-2 in the series with the Los Angeles Clippers.
