The first round playoff series between the Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Clippers might have a lasting impact on the relationship between Luka Doncic and Marcus Morris.
It appears that Morris started a beef with the Mavericks’ young star by trash talking him during the games. “I don’t want to talk to him. He’s just saying a lot of bad stuff to me all the game. I just don’t want to talk to him,” Doncic said after the game.
During Game 5 of the first round, Morris stepped on Luka’s sprained ankle. Post game, the Clippers forward denied it was intentional via a tweet.
“Like I say, everybody’s going to have their own opinion. I just hope it wasn’t intentional. If that was intentional, that’s really bad,” Doncic concluded.
The Clippers thrashed the Dallas in Game 5, 154-111, to regain the lead in the series.
