Donovan Mitchell and Jamal Murray made history in Game 4 between the Utah Jazz and the Denver Nuggets.

Mitchell exploded with 51 points (15/27 shooting, 4/7 from beyond the arc), four rebounds and seven assists, as the Jazz took a 3-1 lead in the series (127-129).

This is the second 50-point performance by Mitchell in the series against Denver.

Meanwhile, Murray posted 50 points (18/31 shooting, 9/15 from the three-point line), 11 boards and seven assists for the Nuggets, who are on the brink of elimination.

The two superstars set a new record, as this is the first game in NBA postseason history in which opposing players each scored 45+ points.

Game 5 will take place on Tuesday. If the Jazz earn the victory, they will win the series.
