Trail Blazers 2023-24 season
Quote:Trail Blazers halt 8-game losing streak with dominant win over Jazz

Jerami Grant's 30 points fueled the Portland Trail Blazers (4-11) as they ended an eight-game losing streak with a commanding 121-105 victory against the struggling Utah Jazz (4-11) on Wednesday night.

Malcolm Brogdon contributed 20 points and eight assists, while Jabari Walker's career-high 19 points off the bench added to the Blazers' resurgence, leading by as many as 32 points.

Despite the Jazz starting Kelly Olynyk for the first time this season, the team couldn't overcome the Blazers' dominant performance, extending their own losing streak to five games.

Rookie guard Scoot Henderson made a highly anticipated return for the Blazers after missing nine games with a sprained right ankle.
Although not in the starting lineup, Henderson received cheers as he entered the game and contributed three points and seven assists in 17 minutes.

Portland guard Anfernee Simons remained sidelined with a ligament injury in his right thumb.

For Utah, Lauri Markkanen was the top performer with 24 points and eight rebounds.
