Final Eight
#1
The winners of the LAST 16 two-game series will play the Final Eight in Turin, Italy on April 10-13. The venue is Torino Palavela and the remaining are three Spanish, two Turkish, two Russian and one Polish teams.

The program:

Thursday, April 10

DKV Joventut Badalona - Pamesa Valencia

Besiktas JK ColaTurka - Galatasaray Cafe Crown

Friday, April 11

Dynamo Moscow - PGE Turow Zgorzelec

Akasvayu Girona - Unics Kazan

I think Joventut and Dynamo will easily overcome their opponents. Everyone knows Unics is really really strong at home; however, just the opposite seemed in force for them when playing as visitors. In Turin, Girona is at an advantage. And I think the toughest match will be played between 2 Turkish sides and although the domestic league leader Besiktas seems to be a cut above GS, it's nearly impossible to make a comment on the possible result.

Welcome to the forum mintcure :welcome: Please stick around.

I think that Joventut and Dynamo are the favourites to win ULEB Cup. Turkish teams are doing well so far but I believe that the teams I named before will make it to the final.

I have my money on Dynamo Moscow. They got an all around squad with some great players such as Fotsis. And i will cheer for them.

The two 'civil war' games should be bone cracking, can't wait...
Respect and thanks for everything:

Alvertis, Bodiroga, Jasikevicius, Radja, Wilkins, Vrankovic, Fotsis, Rebraca, Kattash, Gentile, Koch, Middleton, Kutluay, Rogers, Papadopoulos, Becirovic, Tomasevic, Siskauskas, Pekovic, Lakovic, Vujanic, Chatzivrettas, Maljkovic, Spanoulis and many more to follow in the near future.

Winner will be Pamesa or Dynamo.I like this teams because gor Dynamo playing former Lietuvos Rytas player Robertas Javtokas and for Pamesa Fred House.

Theoretically there are some teams with no chances imo. Joventut is one of them (and also a candidate to claim the trophy). Pamesa has been growing as a team (thanks to Katsikaris mostly), but I don't think they are still in a position to challenge a team like Joventut, especially with Rudy being at his maximum lately (MVP in ACB's latest round).

Turów can be considered one of the surprises this year (along with Artland Dragons), they did a good job so far, but I don't think they'll be able to reach the semis. So far they have not come across with a team like Dynamo, something which could indeed be a plus on motivation, but given the disparity between the two, Dynamo will grab the win imo.

It will be interesting to see the outcome of the Turkish clash, with a clear edge for Be?ikta?. They were *the* team of the regular season and played an almost perfect Last 32 and Top 16.

The indecision imo is with Girona and UNICS. I really can't see a clear favourite. Girona has denoted a little inconsistency lately in ACB while UNICS have been playing their best basketball. I really can't tell. Hmm UNICS.

Galatasaray was up by more than 10 almost the whole game, Besiktas made a late run in the 4th quarter and overpassed Galatasaray with two free throws until Galatasaay killed the game with a threepointer from the corner! 61-60!!!

A little surprise now in 1/4 finals, beskitas beaten galatsay 61;60 and joventut beaten pamesa.Joventut is probably going to win uleb, seems like it's gonna happen.Yeah there still dinamo akayasu and Uniks left but if joventut wins does it means that joventut takes the eurolegue spot from Lietuvos Rytas? <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Ohmy' />

Galatasaray was the one who won and not Besiktas.

And I believe that Dynamo has a better team than DKV anyway...

Dinamo has Big chances but everything is going to be more obvious in the final.

In R.Javtokas interview he said, that every team wanna play in finals but we have load of experienced players, for them their targets are easily beaten, One think we should make-play good.

Domercant is monster.point shooting machine.

Girona beats UNICS 75-66. Looks like it was easy, I didn't watch the game. Totally didn't expect that though. A Spanish final? We'll see <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />
