Defending champion Cibona Zagreb managed to tie the final series against Zadar 2-2 after very close game 90-89.
The game looked like an easy victory of host KK Zadar. They seem to control the game till they reached 75-65 lead in the last minutes. But the hero of the game is Marin Rozic (201-F-83), who scored 10 points in a row and tied the game. Zadar players were completely lost. They tried to stop defending champion. But Andrew Wisniewski executed free throws without mercy, giving 1-point victory to Cibona.
The deciding last game will be on Saturday (June 16th).

Cibona Zagreb is still fighting for the Croatian Crown but also thinks about next year planning.
The Croatian giants if in the market for a point guard after they didnt find a good replacment for Scoonie Penn (178-G-77, college: Ohio St.)who left the club last year for Greek outfit - Olympiacos.
Media linked Larry Ayuso (190-G-77, agency: Edge Sports, college: USC)who played this season a small period at Split.Ayuso Impressed during his stay but left the club shortly and now plays is his native country -Puerto Rico.

Yes, it is correct because in Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia and MonteNegro, second part of national champinships begin few weeks ago. During season, there was regular championships, and 4 best clubs undergo to next (this) phase in which they joined clubs from Adriatic League.

Anderson is a great player. I am wondering how in the hell he is not playing for a bigger club and why he was undiscovered by this time.

Cibona would've played in Euroleague no matter what.

True, teams form Adriatic league have special sistem - according to their achievments in EL, EC, ABA and domestic championships they are granted certain points and point from last three years counts.
Zadar had a nice opportunity to gather more points than Cibona, but Cibona built a very good team before the season, they played in second stage in EL, on FF in ABA and won Croatian championship while Zadar played on F8 in EC but since they didn't reach FF in ABA and didn't win championship they are again behind Cibona in points.
Same case in Serbia and Slovenia, but i can't see any team surpass Partizan and Olimpija in next few years. Maybe in Serbia Crvena zvezda or Hemofarm, but in Slovenia nobody can since noone exept Olimpija plays in European cups.

Why is that by the way? Can't Domzale compete in Eurocup or Eurochallenge? Weird.

Well they can't compete in Eurocup because they aren't good enough in ABA (i think 5 teams from ABA qualifie to EC but i'm not sure) and i really don't know why they don't sign for Eurochallenge. Maybe because they have to play 2 games a week already (domestic + aba league), maybe because of the expenses, who knows. Zlatorog (they finished 4th in Slovenian league) applieed for Eurochallenge but they were eliminated in qualifications.
Frankly, i'm sure they wouldn't have a lot of success neither in Eurocup and not even in Eurochallenge.
