Wait, Georgia was second in its group, why didn't it qualify?
Also I'm super impressed with Montenegro too, they are a massive sporting nation too, their water polo team is awesome <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Congratulations are due to Belgium as well, it's been years since I've seen what they're capable of <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' />

So Finland seems close to nabbing one of the qualifying positions after beating Hungary yesterday in a close game. I've never seen Finland's NT play basketball, but I've heard plenty of anecdotes of good players coming out of that country, and basketball teams attracting 'celebrity' players at times. Something tells me that after driving (especially on ice), basketball must be quite popular too. The increased addition of teams to the Eurobasket will make it interesting to watch new teams I've never seen before, even though they will get creamed by the experienced opposition resulting in most of the game going to garbage time <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' />

Portugal and Finland qualified for Eurobasket. Another proof that the 24 teams Eurobasket is a joke.
