Have you seen the list of the participants of the dunk contest?
Mantas KadzeviÄius (AisÄiai)
Arūnas Vasiliauskas (Juventus)
Aronas Baynesas (Lietuvos Rytas)
Evaldas Kairys (Perlas)
Raimundas Danys (SÅ«duva)
Vaidotas Volkus (Techasas)
Baynes? His dunks don't look amazing or worth the dunk contest. All he does is throws it down with some power. Maybe he has some hidden skills that we don't know about yet? Powerful dunks can be nice but it's not just about power but also about the jump and the moves.
I don't doubt that other guys can dunk but looking at this list it seems like we could witness a poor dunk contest.
Does anyone know more about the skills challenge? Will it be an exact copy of the same challenge in NBA or will it be a poor imitation of it modified to fit our skill-less guards?

Wolves defeated Eagles 109:104. Mindaugas Kuzminskas was name the "most amazing" player.
Gytis Andrijauskas won the skills challenge.
Derrick Low won the three-point shoot-out while Aron Baynes took the best dunker title.
Overall this all-star day was just about what I expected. The positive surprise was Baynes who made some good dunks.
Now the TV broadcast was pathetic and amateurish. I can't believe that we got that in 2010. Firs of all during the three-point shoot-out the only info on screen was a red number in a white square at the bottom right corner of the screen. No player name, no shot clock, no standings. Nothing. The only way to follow the contest was to listen to the commentator or make notes on a paper sheet.
And when the winner was decided we saw an embarrassing interview taken from Derrick Low from a journalist (girl). Youth can speak English rather well in Lithuania but when it comes down to taking interviews we hear pathetic pronunciation and grammar. I'm sure someone will upload the video of the interview on Youtube and I will surely will post if I find it. Btw, that was the first time I saw that journalist. P.S. I'm not even talking about the quality of the questions that were being asked.
The best part was yet to come though. How about dunk contest without dunks? You wonder how's that possible? It's very simple - the operator moves the camera to the opposite direction of the basket. Then you hear the crowd clapping. Hmmm... That must be their reaction to the dunk you think. Correct. Then you a replay which is also cut right before the dunk.

Indeed. I missed 3p contest and skills challenge, but It was enough to see all star game to get pissed. Camera's work was just FANTASTIC, crossed all the lines...Impressive.
More over, I didn't like the game. I don't thing fans are voting for two months to see that laziness. Anyway, that's subjective.

You should catch a replay (if there will be one) and see that interview with Derrick Low. It should give you a good laugh.

Me neither. There were times when players were too serious in such games. Then there was a sort of transition period. And now nobody cares about the final result, not even in the final minutes. The score was tied in the fourth quarter (which lasted 8 minutes without any time stoppages) but both teams were just trying to make alley-oops and passed the ball above the board.
